The Field of Dreams

The Field of Dreams is the first book ever written about Tasmania’s oldest national park. The book is a series of 16 essays describing journeys on foot into this exceptional place. They delve deeply into the personal and universal connection with natural places–and how enchantment follows from our immersion in them. Implicit is the mystery of how wild spaces resonate within us long after we leave them; how they become imbedded in memory; and how the recollection of particular landscapes brings us solace.
